Next At Apple?

According to this report, those creative geniuses over at Apple Inc. (sometimes known as Steve Jobs) will come out with a $500-$700 "tablet" next year to "fill the gap" between the iPod Touch and laptop computer; the new device may also compete with Amazon's Kindle in the eBook market (...may it be so) :
